Investigation of the Broadband Emission of the Gamma-Ray Binary HESS J0632+057 Using an Intrabinary Shock Model

Abstract We investigated a wealth of X-ray and gamma-ray spectral energy distribution (SED) multiband light-curve (LC) data the binary HESS J0632+057 using phenomenological intrabinary shock (IBS) model. Our baseline model assumes that IBS is formed by colliding winds from putative pulsar its Be companion particles accelerated in emit broadband radiation via synchrotron (SY) inverse Compton upscattering (ICS) processes. Adopting latest orbital solution system geometry, we reproduced global TeV LC features, two broad bumps at ϕ ∼ 0.3 ∼0.7, with SY ICS components. found these peaks originate emission caused enhanced seed photon density near periastron superior conjunction or Doppler-beamed bulk-accelerated inferior conjunction. While our successfully explained most observed SED data, phase-resolved band require an additional component associated preshock (produced wind). This finding indicates possibility delineating components determining bulk Lorentz factors wind certain phases.
